Solon Home Burglarized While Family Out Of Town

A home on Spring Grove Drive in Solon was burglarized while the family was out of the state, according to Solon Police.

The home is for sale, and the break-in was noticed by a real estate who was showing the home on the morning of March 8.

The break-in is believed to have happened between noon on March 7 and about 9:50 a.m. on March 8.

The agent told police that the door into the garage had been forced open and the door connecting the home to the garage had also been forced open.

There were muddy footprints all over the house and the place had clearly been rifled through, as there were many drawers left open.

It's unclear now what, if anything, was taken since the homeowners were away out of the state.

Police are investigating.
