Solon Home Burglarized While Family Away

The information in this report is from the Solon Police.

Solon detectives are investigating after thieves broke into a Solon home while the family was out of town.

The burglary occured on Sept. 27 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at a home on Woodsdale Lane. A cat sitter stopped over the house to take care of the pets when she noticed there were doors open, according to Solon Police.

Then she found the master bedroom trashed.

It's not entirely clear the total inventory of what was stolen, but some watches and jewelry have been confirmed missing, accoridng to the police report.
