Solon Girl Tells Police She Was Raped Last Year by Another Teen
The 17-year-old girl said the rape happened between March and May 2010
A 17-year-old Solon girl told police she was raped by her friend's 16-year-old brother last year.
The girl and her mother came to the police station last week to tell officers that the rape occurred last year and that the girl only recently told a counselor about it.
Solon police are investigating the claim. Lt. Bruce Felton, a spokesman for the department, said to the best of his knowledge detectives hadn't talked with the suspect yet.

The girl told police she and the suspect had dated briefly and that the rape occurred at a home in Solon.
Felton said they would release more information as the case develops.
