Solon Girl Bitten Twice by Neighbor's Untied Dog

An 11-year-old Woodlands Lane girl was riding her bike home when she was chased down by a loose Akita dog, according to

The girl made it to her driveway, got off the bike and as she was setting it down, the dog jumped on her and bit her left and right arm. The girl was not badly injured.

The dog was tied to a tree but managed to break loose, police said. The Akita was quarantined, and it had proper licenses.
