Solon Father Charged After Police Break Up Son's Underage Drinking Party

A Solon man faces a charge of allowing underage drinking at his home after police broke up a party on Aug. 10.

Three Solon residents under the age of 21 were cited for underage drinking after police responded to complaints of a party on Arthur Road at about 7 p.m. on Aug. 10, according to a report.

James M. Rendt, 56, of Solon, faces a charge of allowing underage possession of alcohol. That is a first-degree misdemeanor.
