Solon Cop Finds Stolen Car, Arrests Owner's Son For Theft

The information in this report is from the Solon Police. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

A Solon police officer located a stolen car and arrested the owner's son in the theft.

According to a police report, the officer found the car on Oct. 23 at the Solon Motel on Aurora Road. The car had been reported as stolen by the Aurora Police Department.

The police arrested the son of the owner, who was found in a room at the hotel.

Arrested was Phillip M. Cook, 38, of Aurora. Both the car and Cook were turned over to the Aurora Police Department for charges.

I guess his plan was to sell the car and raise enough money to buy a comb.
