Skeleton Found Near Cedar Point May Be Missing Solon Man Charles Kaplan

The Lucas County Coroner's Office is examining the remains to determine if it is Charles Kaplan, a Solon man missing since October.

SANDUSKY, OH -- A skeleton found earlier this week near Cedar Point amusement park may be the remains of local missing boater Charles Kaplan, reports the Plain Dealer.

Kaplan, of Solon, has been missing since his boat was found capsized near the amusement park last October.

Kaplan's companion, Pam Holstein, was found dead inside the boat. The Coast Guard combed the area for Kaplan, but he was never found and the search for him was suspended.
