Solon police received a call April 3 saying they heard gunshots on Solon Industrial Parkway.
It turned out to just be fireworks. Two men, both from Bedford, were cited with possessing and exploding fireworks, a misdemeanor.
responded and set up a perimeter outside the building at 30300 Solon Industrial Parkway. They stopped a guy walking around outside the building who told them that he and another worker were setting off fireworks both inside and outside the building, according to a police report.
Police found the remaining fireworks -- M-80 firecrackers -- inside a locker and confiscated them.
