Shot Fired? Bullet Casing Found in Park East

An empty shell casing for a .40-caliber gun was found at the Park East Apartments and some neighbors reported hearing a gunshot.
received a call on Feb. 22 from someone reporting hearing a gunshot. Officers arrived and searched the area but could find nothing.
Officers returned the next day and found the shell casing on Park East Drive. But police could find no evidence of building damage and they could not find any witnesses who could say what happened.
