Police: Woman Pulls A Gun On Neighbor Over Property Dispute

A 62-year-old Solon woman pulled a gun on her 72-year-old neighbor over a property dispute, according to .
Valierie Woods, 62, of Pettibone Road, was arrested and charged with aggravated menacing after the March 15 incident.
According to a police report, the 72-year-old woman and her 28-year-old grandson returned home. Police say that Woods and the neighbor began arguing and Woods pulled a revolver out of her fanny pack.

The report says that Woods told the grandma to "come on" and bring it on" while holding the gun.
Woods denied the incident when police arrived at her home and initially refused to give them the revolver.

She eventually admitted to having the gun and said that it was in a baking pan in the kitchen, according to the report.
Police couldn't find the gun originally because Woods' 10-year-old daughter hid the gun in the basement clothes dryer so her mother wouldn't get in trouble, according to the report.
A case has begun on the matter with county family & child services.
