Police: Teen Drags Girlfriend Beside Car, Threatened Via Facebook

The following information was provided by the Solon Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

A very dramatic story unfolded on Glen Allen Drive on June 27.

A caller told police  a woman was being dragged by a car driven by her boyfriend.

The 17-year-old, of Aurora Road, was driving when his girlfriend, 20, of Solon, was drunk and got angry and tried to exit the car as it was moving, according to police.

She didn't press charges, although she may be charged with underage consumption. Her boyfriend was cited for drug possession.

The next day the boy's mom called police after her son received threatening messages from a 19-year-old man, who was friends with the victim.

The man sent two messages, one saying "If you wanna get your a** handed to you then see me when you can" and the other saying "You're like 10 pounds, n***a. I could punt you across Solon."
