Police Still Searching For Solon Man Wanted for Rape

Police are still searching for Solon resident Bobby Jackson, 48, who is wanted on felony charges of rape and domestic violence.

The U.S. Marshals and the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force are searching for a 48-year-old Solon man who is accused of rape and domestic violence, according to the .

Bobby Jackson, who has prior convictions of domestic violence, stayed at a woman's home on Dec. 11, and when she returned from taking her children to school on Dec. 12, he attacked her, according to a police report. The woman had a temporary protection order against him.

Jackson punched the woman in the head with a closed fist, slammed her onto the bed, threatened to beat her with a hammer, choked and raped her, according to the police report. 

He then left, and he is still at large.

Pending charges include felony counts of rape and domestic violence, police said.
