Police: Solon Man Caught With Homemade Marijuana Candy

An 18-year-old Solon man was arrested on drug charges Feb. 12 after Solon Police say they found, among other things, marijuana candy.

The man was pulled over at 12:55 a.m. Feb. 12 when a police officer saw him driving with no headlights. After the traffic stop, the officer smelled marijuana and searched the car.

Police found a small amount of marijuana and hashish, drug equipment including a scale, rolling papers and a marijuana bowl, and two bags of homemade candy that tested positive for marijuana.

All the charges are misdemeanors, though police are still investigating and the man may face more charges.
