Police Raid Solon Home, Find Drug Operation

The couple who lives in the SOM Center Road home faces numerous drug charges

A Solon couple was arrested last week after Solon police and the Geauga County Sheriff's department searched their home and found evidence of a drug manufacturing operation, according to Solon Police.

Jacquline Freshwater, 36, and Joshua Freshwater, 40, of 7026 SOM Center Road in Solon, face numerous drug-related charges after police searched their home May 16.

Police were assisting Geauga County authorities, who had a warrant to arrest the Freshwaters on drug charges.

According to the police report, officers found a marijuana grow room with three plants, marijuana seeds and a marijuana grower's bible. Police also found a variety of pills – including Oxycodone, Diazepam, amphetamines and morphine – and a bag filled with white powder.

Jacquline Freshwater faces is charged with possession of criminal tools, drug possession, illegal cultivation of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Joshua Freshwater faces the same charges as well as a charge of abusing harmful intoxicants, a felony.
