Police Nab Shoplifting Suspects at Old Navy

A man and two women, all from Cleveland, were arrested and charged with theft after say they caught them with stolen merchandise from Old Navy at Uptown Solon.

On April 3 at about 1 p.m., the store called to report that they saw customers concealing items in their purses in the store, according to the police report.

The police arrived, and were waiting for them when they exited the store.

Police searched their car -- a rental from Maryland -- which had nine items from Old Navy and 24 items from H&M. The three could not produce receipts for the items.

One of them, a 23-year-old man, was also charged with drug abuse because police say he was carrying 16 grams of marijuana.
