Police Explorers Compete In State Competition

"We are so proud of the job our cadets did," said Solon Police Officer Courtenay Perkins.

For the first time, the Solon and Orange Police Explorers Post competed in the 2013 Law Enforcement Explorer Competition held at Valley Forge High School in Parma Heights last month.Β

While the teams did not receive any top honors in any of the scenario competitons, they competed well, said Solon Police Officer Courtenay Perkins.

"We are so proud of the job our cadets did," he said. "They worked hard and put a lot of time and effort into preparing for this event. The type of dedication those cadets showed speaks volumes about who they are as individuals and will help them to be successful in life, which is the most important component in all of this."
