Police Dog Recovering from Emergency Surgery

The dog is recovering and should be back on the job in a few weeks.

Stryker, the Solon Police Department's K-9, had emergency stomach surgery Sunday evening.

He is expected to recover but will be out of commission for a few weeks, according to the department.

"Please keep Stryker, his handler and family in your thoughts," the Solon Police Department posted on its Facebook page.
