Police Chase After Reckless Driver

A 46-year-old Cleveland man was charged with reckless operation after leading on a mini-chase down SOM Center Road.
A police officer went to stop his pickup truck, which was driving 50 miles per hour in a 35 mile-per-hour zone.
But the truck kept going, and started weaving dangerously between traffic. The truck sideswipped a construction sign.

The truck pulled into Solon Village shopping center, but was stopped in its tracks by a dump truck at the construction site, according to a police report.
Th driver was charged with reckless operation, not wearing a seatbelt and for having license plates that belonged to another vehicle.
