Police: Man Goes on Drunken Eating Spree at Solon Gas Station

were called to the Dec. 24 to deal with a drunk man eating food off the shelves.

Police arrived at the station at SOM Center Road and Solon Road about 3:27 a.m. to find a 23-year-old Akron man leaning against the counter and shoving food into his mouth. According to the police report, the man had food all over his face and clothing.

Officers also noticed a trail of open packages and food crumbs from where the man started his munching spree.

The man was clearly disoriented, telling officers that he was in Kent and not in Solon.

The man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
