Pettibone Road Closed Early Monday to Arrest Woman For 911 Misuse
Solon Police say the woman called 911, asked for help and then hung up
Police were forced to close Pettibone Road early Monday after a woman called police, asked for help and then hung up the phone.
Because police didn't know what kind of situation they were going into, Pettibone Road was closed briefly at about 6:23 a.m., said department spokesman Lt. Bruce Felton.
It turns out the woman, who was drunk, wanted to go home but no one else at the Pettibone Road home wanted to take her home. So she called 911.

Arrested and charged with improper use of 911 was Amy Strong, 38, of Brecksville.
