Pair Charged with Possession of Meth, Weed and Mushrooms

The following information was provided by the Solon Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

A June 9 traffic stop by Solon police led to a drug-bust trifecta.

Ryan Kent, 23, and James Christensen, 26, both of Napoleon, OH, were charged with drug possession, fifth degree felony.

The men were driving in a car on US 422 west when police pulled them over.

The passenger was found passed out. The driver said he was really tired. Police were finally able to get the man to wake up.

According to the police report, officers found 3.5 grams of psilocybin (mushrooms), 50 grams of suspected marijuana, one-third gram of suspected meth and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.
