Officer Finds Concealed Knife and Marijuana During Traffic Stop

Information provided by the Solon Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction

On Oct. 13, an officer patrolling on State Route 91 pulled over a truck for an equipment violation and happened upon much more than just a citation.

According to Solon police, the officer walked up to the car and saw a large knife concealed under the leg of the driver. Everyone was taken out of the car, and after checking IDs, the officer found that the passenger was wanted on a warrant from the for failing to appear in court.

Officers arrested Lea Marozzi, 21, of Ravenna, and charged her with driving with a suspended license and concealed carry, police said. Officers also arrested passenger Roni Stephenson, 25, of Atwater, and charged her with drug abuse for marijuana found in the car and her outstanding warrant, according to police.Β
