Nebraska Man Arrested for Shooting Rifle on Solon Road

on July 31, a resident on Solon Road heard what they could only describe as a gunshot. And it came from the next-door neighbor's property.

Solon Police officer came to investigate and asked the property owner if he knew what was going on. He said his son was out in the woods behind the house, so the officer should ask him.

The son, 46-year-old Timothy Fee of Gretna, Neb., said he was shooting in the back yard, but that it was only a pellet gun.

The officers didn't buy it, and Fee eventually admitted he was shooting at trees with a .22-caliber rifle.Β 

Fee was arrested and charged with illegal discharge of a firearm.
