More Shoplifters Caught At Giant Eagle

Giant Eagle in Solon has been rounding up shoplifters lately, and has caught two more people trying to steal merchandise, according to Solon Police reports.
On Feb. 12, a 60-year-old Solon woman was caught by the store's loss prevention officers putting items in her purse. She also had a cart, and paid for the items in the cart but not in the purse.
She was caught trying to steal about $45 worth of merchandise. She was charged with theft by the Solon Police.

On Feb. 18, 40-year-old Maple Heights woman was caught stuffing items in her purse and trying to work from the store. She was caught by Giant Eagle staff with about $28 of unpaid merchandise.
She was charged with theft and also arrested on a warrant from Shaker Heights.
