The information in this blotter is from the Solon Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction

A Mentor woman was arrested and charged with robbery after attempting to steal $18.79 worth of stuff at Marc's in Solon, according to Solon Police.

Store security told police that Lynda Lofquist, 48, of Mentor, was seen in the close-out section of the store pulling tags off of items and placing them on the items in her cart.

She was taken into an office, where police say she assaulted two employees while trying to break out of the office.

Lt. Bruce Felton of the Solon Police department said that Lofquist received the robbery charge, a felony, because of the assaults during the theft.
