Man Upgrades Cell Phone At AT&T By Stealing One

A man figured out how to get trade in his old phone and get a new one for free at the AT&T store in Solon.

Problem is, the police are now looking for him for theft.

According to a Solon Police report, a man came into the AT&T store on Sept. 19 shopping for a phone. He checked out the Samsung Galaxy S3, and then left the store.

He cam back later with a Motorola Razr phone, telling the customer service rep that he needed a battery for it. The employee took the phone into the back to look for a battery. When he returned, the man was gone.

The Samsung Galaxy was also gone.

Detectives are investigating.
