Man Tries to Stop His Car From Being Towed, Ends Up With Assault Charge

A worker at a Solon business tried to stop his 2002 Ford Taurus from being repossessed

A Cleveland man who worked at Solon-based NetShape Technologies knew they were coming to repossess his car, so he decided to do everything he could to stop them.

The repossessors ultimately got the man's 2002 Ford Taurus. And the man, Tilden Atkinson, 45, of Cleveland, ended up getting charged with assault and disorderly conduct.

According to police, Atkinson came to work at the Solon Road business anticipating that the repossessors would try to get his car, so he parked it snugly between two cars and where he could see it if the tow truck arrived.
