Man Sought for Assault Drops Girlfriend Off at Police Station, Arrested: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Solon Police Department.

A Euclid man practically turned himself in to Solon police after he was wanted for assault.

On June 9 cops responded to the Chipotle on Aurora Road where a man was assaulted with head wounds.

The victim, a 31-year-old Chagrin Falls man, said he was assaulted by a man as he was leaving Office Max who told him, "This is what you get for messing with my girlfriend." The man left in a blue Honda Civic.

The attacker's girlfriend, who worked with the victim, was driven to the police station to file a sexual harassment report by the attacker. 

He was charged with assault.

Wait, did I lock my car?

On June 8 a 52-year-old Gates Mills woman called police after a computer was stolen from her car parked at the Former Cleveland State building on Solon Road. The woman left with coworker and returned from Akron finding her HP laptop was gone. She could not recall if she locked her car or not. The $1,000 laptop belonged to the Gilmour academy.

Please, don't shoot the neighbors

On June 8 police were called to Sedgfield Oval after a 10-year-old boy said he was shot by a neighbor's pellet gun. The kids were playing in the driveway when a neighbor fired pellets from an airsoft gun at the kids. The 21-year-old neighbor claimed it was an accident but was cited for disorderly conduct. The child was not injured.

Drug bust

A June 9 traffic stop on US 422 near State Route 91 led to arrests after police smelled marijuana. Four people were in the car, all had some type of drug paraphernalia on them. Two were juveniles, ages 15 and 16. Police confiscated three glass, a syringe, grinders and other miscellaneous paraphernalia.
