Man's Car Vandalized, and Girlfriend Says She Did It

The information in this report is from the Solon Police.

A 21-year-old Cleveland man told Solon Police his car was scratched up and two of his tires were punctured.

And he says he knows who did it. According to the police report, the man said he received a text message from his girlfriend saying that she was going to damage his car.

The car was damaged on Sept. 20 between around 11 p.m. at Nestle on Harper Road.

The report says that there were scratches on every part of the man's 2007 Chevy Impala, and the damage was estimated at $1,000.

An officer called the girlfriend to question her, and she told the officer that she wasn't responsible for the scratches or the punctured tires. Thing is, the officer never described the damage to her.
