Man Charged With Drunken Driving On His Birthday

Four hours into his birthday celebration, a 23-year-old Oakwood Village man was arrested and charged with drunken driving and drug abuse in Solon, according to a Solon Police report.
The man was pulled over on U.S. 422 near Harper Road after police received a report of an erratic driver on Jan. at about 4 a.m. A police officer spotted the car in a gas station parking lot and observed erratic driving.
After the traffic stop, the man told the officer he had a few shots to celebrate his birthday, which was that same day. He also had a small amount of marijuana in his possession, according to police.

The man blew a .154 on the breathalyzer test, over the legal limit of .08.
