Man Charged With Domestic Violence After Punching Roommate

A fight between two roommates over money and eviction from their apartment led one man to punch the other and land himself in jail, according to Solon Police.

A 30-year-old Solon man is charged with domestic violence after he punched his roommate, a 57-year-old man, after an argument, according to police. The men lived in an apartment on Aurora Road.

The charge is a felony because of a previous domestic violence charge involving these two men, according to the police report.

The victim said he did not want to press charges, but he had a visible injury so police arrested the culprit and took him to Solon jail.
