Man Charged After Threatening Son At Solon Library

A Solon man was charged with domestic violence after he threatened his son at the checkout counter of the Solon Library.

were called to the library on Portz Parkway on June 11 at about 7:30 p.m. after a library worker called and said that a 42-year-old man rushed a customer at the desk and threatened to hurt him.

The victim told police that the man was his father. He said his father had a drug problem and wanted keys to the victim's home. The victim declined because they don't want his father home alone.

Thr 42-year-old man was charged with domestic violence, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
