Man Arrested For Exposing Himself in Giant Eagle Parking Lot

A Northfield man faces a charge of public indecency after a 58-year-old Solon woman said he exposed himself to her while he was sitting in his car in the Giant Eagle parking lot, according to .

Matthew D. Thomas, 25, of Northfield, faces a charge of public indecency, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.

The woman called police on Sept. 2 at about 2:13 p.m. and told dispatch that she had been backing out of her parking spot when she noticed a man in the car next to hers exposing himself to her. The woman was able to get the man's license plate number, the police report says.

According to the police report, Thomas was arrested after he was pulled over for driving through a stop sign. The call from the woman came in during the traffic stop, and once police realized he was the suspect, he was arrested and charged.
