Man Arrested For Drunken Driving While Relieving Himself Along Highway

A 62-year-old Garfield Heights man was arrested and charged with drunken driving after police found him relieving himself along the side of U.S. 422 on Nov. 17, according to Solon Police.

Arrested and charged was Samuel L. Holcombe, 62, of Garfield Heights. He was charged with drunken driving.

According to the police report, an officer on patrol at about 8 p.m. Nov. 17 spotted a pickup truck pulled over on the side of westbound U.S. 422 near Harper Road.

The officer said that he watched the driver exit the truck, and stagger over to the side of the road and begin to relieve himself.

He was arrested and taken to Solon jail. The driver recorded a result of .221 on a breathalyzer test, over the legal limit of .08, according to the police report.
