Labrador Kills Neighbor's Dog: Owner Charged With Obstructing Police

A Solon woman whose labrador killed her neighbor's dog was arrested and charged with obstructing justice after Solon Police says she gave them a fake social security number.

The police were talking to the woman about the April 19 incident when her dog broke free from its chain and killed her neighbor's dog.

According to the police report, the woman gave officers a fake social security number when they came to her Richmond Road home to investigate the dog attack.

It turned out the woman, 42, had an active warrant for failure to pay city taxes.

The dog attack is being investigated by the city's animal warden.
