Female Passenger Throws Tantrum After Driver's Arrest

The arrest information in this report is from the Solon Police. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

A 25-year-old Solon man was arrested and charged with drunken driving on May 6, but his female passenger did nothing wrong and was going to get off scott free.

That is, until she threw a tantrum, according to a report.

Dominic Iacano, 25, of Solon, was pulled over early on May 6 and charged with drunken driving.

His passenger, 27-year-old Grace D. Mierzejewski, of Bedford, wasn't charged with anything. So she got out of the car and tried to walk away.

Because she was also intoxicated, officers stopped her and said that they had to bring her back to the station with them, where she could call for a ride.

According to the police report, Mierzejewski began swearing and resisting officers. The report says the officers had to take her down in the grass along the road to subdue and cuff her.

She is charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
