UPDATE: Victim of Early Morning Fatal Rollover ID'd

A Jeep Wrangler traveling west on US 422 around 2:10 a.m. struck a guardrail and rolled over, ejecting the driver and killing him on impact, according to Solon police.

The driver, Jason P. Kasmer, 28, of Solon, was just west of state Route 91.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner was called to the scene, as well as the Ohio Department of Transportation, police said.

That is the first of many accidents sure to happen with those guardrails so close to the left hand lane. It is bad enough there isn't room for a car or truck to pull off the road due to a flat tire or other problems with the car. I can't even imagine what it will be like when there is slushy snow and ice on the road. Cars will hit that guardrail and bounce right back into the path of oncoming cars.
