Drunken Driving Arrests In Solon: Blotter Roundup

Solon Police arrested three drivers and charged them with drunken driving in the last week. Here's a roundup of those arrests.

Remember, these are only charges, and not convictions.

• A 27-year-old Broadview Heights woman was charged with drunken driving on Jan. 8 at 1:56 a.m. after an officer stopped her on Bainbridge Road east of S.R. 91 for failing to control her car.  She submitted to a breath test with a result of .181, according to the police report.
• A 29-year-old Solon woman was charged with drunken driving on Jan. 8 at 9:34 p.m. after she was stopped on Bainbridge Road near Kruse Drive for an improper turn and a lane violation.  She failed to submit to a breath test. 
• A 39-year-old Reminderville man was charged with drunken driving and having an open container of alcohol on Jan. 9 at 11:52 p.m. following a traffic stop for speed and lane violations on U.S. 422 and S.R. 91.  He submitted to a breath test with a result of .136, according to the police report. He also had an open bottle of tequila in the car.
