Driver With Warrants Lies To Police, Gets Arrested

A 20-year-old Solon woman is charged with falsification after she gave police a fake name and birth date during a traffic stop, according to Solon Police.

The woman was pulled over on U.S. 422 on Jan. 6 for an expired registration, according to the police report. The woman gave police a fake name and birth date, but the officer was able to figure out she was lying.

The woman apparently lied because he was driving on a suspended license and also had two outstanding warrants from two different law enforcement agencies, according to police.

She was charged with falsification, driving under suspension and cited for a registration violation, the report reads.
