Don't Lie To Police: Women Arrested After Police Learned They Lied

Three Cleveland woman probably thought they got away with a lie to Solon Police during a traffic stop.

Instead, they were arrested at home hours later after Solon officers discovered the women's attempt to hide the fact that a woman was driving on a suspended license, according to a police report.

On Jan. 6 at about 11:10 p.m., police pulled over a car on U.S. 422 for an equipment violation. Police say the driver lied about her identity and that her two passengers corroborated her story.

Later, police were able to confirm that the woman lied. Officer tracked the woman to a home in Cleveland, where they were arrested.

The driver, a 48-year-old woman, was charged with falsification and driving under suspension. The passengers, women aged 20 and 19, were both charged with obstructing.
