Deja Vu: Oxycodone Pills Again Missing From Solon Nursing Home

56 narcotic pills vanished from Solon Pointe at Emerald Ridge last month. Last week, another 30 pills went unaccounted for

A Solon nursing home and assisted living facility again has lost track of Oxycodone pills, according to a Solon police report.

Last month, from a newly arrived shipment at Solon Pointe at Emerald Ridge, located at 5625 Emerald Ridge Parkway.

The three nurses on duty at the time were asked to provide statements and take a drug test. Two did so, and one refused and quit.

On May 11, the exact same thing happened again.

This time, 30 pills are unaccounted for, according to Solon police. Again, three nurses were on call during the time, and they were all ordered to provide statements and take a drug test. Again, one of the nurses refused and quit.

One of the nurses was on duty both times when pills went missing.

The case is being investigated by Solon's detective bureau.Β
