Stow Police Arrest Hudson Doctor on Charges of Rape, Sexual Assault   

A Hudson doctor has been arrested by Stow Police on charges of rape, gross sexual imposition and sexual imposition following a year and-a-half long investigation.

Officers arrested James P. Bressi, 59, of 2468 Victoria Parkway, Hudson, OH, on Fridaybased on charges stemming from 10 victims, according to police.

Woman Found Stuffed in a Closet, Foul Play Suspected

A man is in custody as police investigate the “suspicious” death of a woman found stuffed in the closet of an apartment on Detroit Avenue on Thursday morning.

Police received a report of a missing woman at around 10 a.m. Thursday. They checked the apartment at 13531 Detroit Avenue.

Triple-Stabbing Suspect in Critical Condition After Hit by Truck in Solon

The suspect identified in the stabbing of three people Labor Day morning at Golden Gate Villa, and hit in Solon, remains in critical condition, as do two of the three victims.

A box truck hit Matthew Cepik, an Iraqi War veteran, after he ran in front of  a box truck on US 422 in Solon around 7:40 a.m. Monday. 

Alleged Shoplifter Hit with Taser as He Flees Store  

An alleged shoplifter's encore appearance at Walmart didn't go as smoothly as the first, according to a report.

Police were called to the store about 11 p.m. Sept. 1 after employees saw a man load a cart with $506 worth of merchandise, then wheel it out of the store without paying.
