Craigslist Scammer Steals From Solon Man

A Solon man tried to buy computer cords on Craiglist. Instead, the man selling the cords came to his house and stole $100.

An 18-year-old Solon man tried to buy some computer cords on Craigslist, the Internet marketplace.

The seller of the cords told the Solon man he would stop by his home on Arthur Road to hand over the cords, according to a report.

A man pulled up in the driveway with two passengers and asked for the money. The victim handed over $100.

Instead of handing back the computer cords, the man put his car in reverse and backed out of the driveway, counting the money along the way, and drove away.
