Crack Cocaine Found In Car; Driver and Passenger Arrested

A man and woman were arrested on Oct. 3 after Solon Police officers fund what they believe was crack cocaine in their car, according to a police report.

Christopher Michael Gause, 23, of West Farmington, was charged with felony drug possession. The passenger of the car, Debra Padgett, 55, of Cleveland, was charged with possessing drug abuse instruments and is also being held on an arrest warrant for another law enforcement agency.

According to the report, a police office pulled over a car for an equipment violation on Oct. 3 at 11:59 p.m. A search of the car revealed a suspected crach pipe with drug residue, two used syringes and suspected crack cocaine.
