County Judge Handling Solon Lawsuit Found Guilty Of Drunken Driving

Judge Peter J. Corrigan was found guilty of drunken driving after he pleaded no contest in court today.

Cuyahoga County Judge Peter J. Corrigan was found guilty of drunken driving Friday after pleading no contest, reports the Plain Dealer.

Corrigan is the judge handling the wrongful termination suit by former Solon mayor's secretary Sally Deitrick against Mayor Susan Drucker, according to court records.

A judge in Rocky River Municipal Court sentenced Corrigan to three days in jail - which will be served in an education program,Β  fined him $500 and suspended his driver's license for 2013, though he will have work driving priveleges, the newspaper reports.

Corrigan was arrested at about 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 17 after Cleveland Metroparks rangers in Rocky River found him asleep in his car with the engine running.
