A Solon woman arrested on charges of drunk driving May 25 was arrested 36 hours later on charges of leaving the scene of an accident.
The woman, who had when police pulled her over after she nearly stuck two officers on a traffic stop, had her car impounded after the drunk driving charges, according to Solon Police.
But then a motorist came into the Solon police station the next day to report that his car was hit by another car driving north on SOM Center Road.
Police discovered the owner of the car was a 90-year-old Chagrin Falls resident. That woman's sister told officers she gave the vehicle to a relative to use -- the same woman arrested by police on May 25.
The woman was found at a Solon bar, where she was arrested and charged with failure to stop after an accident.
