Burglary in Solon: Dirt Bikes Stolen From Garage, Suspect Arrested

A Solon resident's garage on Navajo Trail was broken into on Aug. 19 and three custom dirt bikes worth $23,000 were stolen, according to .

But a tip allowed Solon Police to recover two of the bikes in Cleveland and arrest a man on a charge of receiving stolen property.

Arrested and charged was Maurice Cole, 23, of Cleveland. The case remains under investigation.

According to a police report, the 52-year-old resident said that he went into his attached garage at about 8 a.m. and found that the back door had been broken open and the three dirt bikes were gone. He said the bikes were there at 3 a.m., so they were stolen sometime after that.
