A woman walked into Marc's on SOM Center Road with an empty purse. She left with it stuffed to the brim.
But the woman, a 38-year-old Solon resident, did not get far. According to a police report, She was apprehended by a Marc's security employee and taken to the office. There, the woman tried to remove a number of hair barrettes from her bra and drop them in the trash.
All told, the woman attempted to steal 18 personal grooming items worth $47.80.
