Arthur Road School Burglarized Over Presidents Day Weekend

The following was obtained from a Solon police report dated Feb. 19. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arthur Road Elementary School was reportedly burglarized over Presidents Day weekend when 10 iPads worth $5,000 were stolen from a second-floor classroom.

School staff reported the iPads were last seen at 4:45 p.m. on Feb. 15; and when class resumed on Feb. 19, the tablets were gone, according to Solon Police Lt. Bruce Felton.Β

Police are working with school staff to determine which employees had access to the locked school over the holiday weekend.
