Arrested Man Threatens to Kill Solon Police Officer

The man, who was picked up after a traffic stop, was charged with aggravated menacing

A man pulled over by police May 10 for making an improper turn on Cochran Road in Solon was charged with aggravated menacing after police say he threated to kill the police officer.

Rashawn Goins was arrested after the officer who pulled him over saw that he had outstanding arrest warrants and a suspended driver's license.

After he was put into the back of the police cruiser, police say Goins threatened to kill the officer and his family. He repeated the death threats back at the station, so the cops tacked on the aggravated menacing charge.
